About Ayurveda

Ayurveda, the ancient Indian "Science of Life," is a holistic approach to health that has been practiced for over 5,000 years. It offers a body of wisdom designed to help people stay vibrant and healthy while realizing their full human potential. Rooted deeply in the understanding that health is a harmonious balance of the mind, body, and environment, Ayurveda approaches wellness as a holistic endeavor, where the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects are equally important.

This traditional system emphasizes preventive healthcare and treatment through lifestyle practices (such as massage, meditation, yoga, and dietary changes) and the use of herbal remedies. It recognizes that each individual is unique, and thus, each treatment plan is tailored to the individual’s unique constitution or "prakriti."

About Doshas

In Ayurveda, the concept of doshas is integral to understanding one's constitution. Doshas are the fundamental bodily bio-elements that make up one’s constitution and are categorized into three types: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha.
